We firmly believe that today's customers are deeply concerned about the environment and human rights. When people invest in high-end jewelry, they want to know the origins of each component. That's why we are actively involved in every stage of our jewelry's creation, from design to production. We go to great lengths to gather information about our suppliers' sourcing methods for materials. We are physically present during the production of the gold components in our jewelry, and all Arktous braided jewelry is handcrafted by us in Norway.

We consider ourselves fortunate because all the materials in our jewelry are 100% reusable. This allows us to purchase materials that have been previously used, helping to minimize our impact on nature. Reusability is a cornerstone of our philosophy, and we offer a 'service' to all our customers for our braided jewelry to ensure it can be enjoyed for a long time.

Colored Gemstones:

We take pride in sourcing Ruby and Sapphire beads for our braided jewelry from Greenland, and we can trace their journey from mine to market, a guarantee from our supplier, Greenland Ruby A/S.

We adhere to the Kimberley Process Certification Forms (KPCS) to certify the origin of our diamonds. Established in 2003, the KPCS prevents rebel groups from financing their activities through the sale of diamonds. This certification ensures that 'blood diamonds' are kept out of the legitimate diamond market. It serves as insurance for buyers, assuring them that their purchase doesn't fund conflicts or human rights abuses. According to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), 99% of diamonds on the market today are conflict-free.

Precious Metal:

We exclusively use gold with a fineness of 585/1000 in our jewelry. This allows us to utilize 'used gold' in our production, recycling the metal entirely to create new jewelry. We also offer a repurchase program with a 'spot price-money-back guarantee,' providing a spot price based on the current raw material price at the time, minus 20% for precious metal extraction.

The Arktous Promise, Our Commitment to You:

We stand firmly against supporting processes that harm humans or the environment. Hence, all our diamonds are guaranteed conflict-free, as ensured by our suppliers in accordance with the Kimberley Process.

We are committed to sourcing our gold and metals from suppliers that meet the highest standards in human rights, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability. In collaboration with our suppliers, we are dedicated to increasing our use of recycled and secondary sources for gold.

We guarantee that every braided piece we offer is designed and meticulously crafted by us in Norway, ensuring you receive a one-of-a-kind piece.
